1.         DIRECTOR OF EXAMINATIONS ADMINISTRATION (M2)

The Director will be reporting to the Executive Director

Key Duties

·         Planning, organizing and coordinating examinations logistics activities such as candidates’ enrolment, invigilation and marking.

·         Preparing annual financial estimates (budgets) for activities to be performed in the Examinations Administration Department.

·         Advising management on examinations logistics matters

·         Consolidating annual budget estimates of the department

·         Preparing agenda papers relating to examination logistics and attending to Examinations and Security Committee meetings. 

 

Qualifications and Experience

·         Must have at least a Master’s Degree in Education obtained from a reputable higher education institution.

·         At least seven (7) years’ work experience at Management level.

 

Requisite knowledge, Attributes and Skills

 

·         Must have track record of high integrity

·         Must be good at planning and computer literate.

·         Must possess research and analytical skills.

·         Must have good leadership and team building skills

·         Must be self-motivated, a team player and result oriented

 

2.         DIRECTOR OF COMPUTER SERVICES (M2)

The Director will be reporting to the Executive Director.

 

Key Duties

 

·         Planning, directing, supervising and co-ordinating the activities of the Computer Services Department (CSD)

·         Developing suit on programmes and other relevant software for examinations and assessment data processing.

·         Assessing data integrity and suitability of data security procedures

·         Consolidating and monitoring implementation of departmental budget

·         Compiling and submitting monthly, quarterly and annual reports to management pertaining to the activities of the CSD

·         Establishing work programmes standards in the CSD

·         Advising management on the suitability of software and hardware packages for the computer needs of the Board.

 

Qualifications and Experience

 

·         Must have a Master’s Degree in Computer Sciences or relevant field obtained from a reputable higher education institution

·         At least seven (7) years’ work experience at Management level

·         Specialised training in Computer Programming and Systems Designs.

3.         DIRECTOR OF EXAMINATIONS DEVELOPMENT (M2)

The Director will be reporting to the Executive Director.

Key Duties

·         Planning, organizing and coordinating activities such as printing, enrolment and test development activities such as item writing, shredding and moderation.

·         Preparing annual reports on complaint concerning examinations and making necessary recommendation to curb examination malpractice.

·         Strategize planning schedule of examination preparatory activities are in conformity with the strategy.

·         Preparing annual financial estimates (budgets) for activities to be performed in the Examinations development department.

·         Coordinating research activities.

 

Qualifications and Experience

·         Must have at least a Master’s Degree in Education obtained from a reputable high education institution.  Possession of a master’s Degree in Measurement and Testing will be an added advantage. 

·         At least seven (7) years’ experience as a Chief Officer or at management level.

·         Must have at least three (3) years hands on experience in a busy organization and able to work with minimal supervision.

·         Must possess research and analytical skills.

 

4.         DIRECTOR OF SECURITY (M2)

            The Director will be reporting to the Executive Director.

Key Duties

·         Planning and executing examination security programmes.

·         Developing work plans for Examination Security Department and ensuring their timely implementation.

·         Advising the Executive director on examination security matters.

·         Representing the Board on all security matters in a court of law.

·         Submitting status reports on the activities of the Security Department to the Executive director.

·         Preparing annual financial estimates for the Department activities.

·         Ensuring security of the Board’s property.

Qualifications and Experience

·         Must have a Master’s Degree in Education obtained from a reputable higher education institution.

·         At least seven (7) years’ experience as a Chief Officer at management level.

·         Possession of a Master’s Degree in Security Studies will be an added advantage.

·         Track record of high integrity.

·         Must be good at planning and computer literate.

·         Must have at least three (3) years hands on experience in a busy organization and able to work with minimal supervision.

 

5.         DIRECTOR OF CORPORATE SERVICES (M2)

            The Director will be reporting to the Executive director.

            Key Duties

·         Planning, organizing and coordinating activities of the Corporate Services Department.

·         Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports for the Corporate Service Department.

·         Strategizing and planning for meetings of the Board and its Committees.

·         Preparing the budget for the Corporate Services Department.

·          Providing regular leadership to sectional heads to ensure staff motivation and enhanced work delivery.

·         Providing logistical facilitation and scrutiny of requests from various departments in enforcing procedural propriety and best practice

·         Providing secretarial services to management meetings and Board meetings on behalf of the Executive Director.

·         Controlling the department budget.

·         Providing corporate governance advice to Management regarding legal implementations of Management decisions on employees, clients and the public at large. 

            Qualification and Experience

·         Must have at least a Master’s Degree in either Human Resources Management, Public Administration, Business Administration obtained from a reputable higher education institution.

·         At least seven (7) years’ experience at senior management level.

 

Requisite knowledge, Attributes and Skills

·         Must be computer literate.

·         Must possess planning and analytical skills.

·         Must have a track record of high integrity.
