The Department of Administration is responsible for providing functional and logistical support to professional Departments at MANEB in areas of office management, vehicle fleet management, staffing and general staff welfare.
The Department is divided into two sections namely; Human Resource and Office Services.
Specific functions of each section are as follows:-
Human Resource Section
- Recruitment of members of staff when need arises
- Training and development of Staff
- Administration of staff salaries and benefits
- Ensuring staff welfare
- Preparation of periodic staff returns
- Enforcement of staff discipline
Office Services Section
- Provision of logistical procedures for successful administration of examinations
- Vehicle fleet management
- Assessment of office accommodation needs and provision of the same
- Maintenance of office inventory in liaison with Stores Unit
